Hi peeps! my name is Namira Putri Anindya, usually called Namira, i'm from SMKN 4 Semarang, and entered the Department of Building Information Modeling Design. 

On this page, I will provide some basic information about learning descriptive text. Even though it looks simple, it can be useful in everyday life.

Keep following about the blog that I made, I hope it's useful! 

The first step begins with knowledge of what a text description is, then its function and structure.

1. Understanding Description text.

• Description text contains a description of a certain object, place, or event so that the reader can feel, see, smell, and hear it.
• The generic tructure of descriptive, there are 3 descriptive text structures, namely identification, section descriptions, and conclusions/impressions.
• The sentences used in descritive text are detailed sentences or sentences that aim to detail or explain an object to make it more concrete and clarify sensory impressions for readers.

Next is an example of descriptive text along with the structure that has been made.

A cow.

Cows are a type of livestock that are kept by humans, especially for the use of their meat as human food, and they also have by-products, namely their skin, horns and dung, which are also used for various human purposes, especially in terms of fertilizers.

This cow has a body weight of 260 kg and a body length of 132 c, besides that this cow also has a unique color, namely black skin color, has 4 legs, and has horns that are 17 cm long, and has a very long tail of 73 cm. This cow is one year and eight months old, male, eats plants, namely grass and stems. When eating grass these animals coil the plant and eat it with their lower teeth. These animals are also very useful for their owners because in addition to having a need for meat they also use their physical bodies to carry their burdens.

Gigi Giraffe.

The giraffe is the tallest mammal in the world. We can find it in central, east and South Africa. Some of them are also kept in zoos.

Giraffes have long necks and long legs. Its long neck helps it eat leaves from tall trees.

He pulled the leaves with a long tongue. Around its body, it has a mottled pattern. “Giraffa camelopardalis” is the scientific name. On the top of its head, there are "horns" or small knobs. They are used to protect the head when fighting.

My dearest room.

            I love my bedroom. The wall colour is pure white, which is my favourite colour because it's look naturally. I have one snug bed that faces the window. Every morning, every time that i woke up, the sunshine bright through my window.

         I put my table for study and do my prep at the corner. Beside the table, there is a massive wardrobe where i place off all of my gorements. My step father created the furniture on behalf of me as my birthday gift. On the left aspects of the table, there's a shelf wherever i place all of my favourite things. On the table, there's a lamp, tab, posters, and kind of thai merchandise. I love my bedroom because it's giving me a cozy vibes. 

4. Books for lessons.

Productive Session Modul.

          In the productive session, we don’t use books, we use moduls for the lessons. There’s only one material we got for the building drawing technique on the first semester, the material is the building statics. The modul is thin as it only contain one maretial. Even there’s only one material, it can be studied for a long time as it got so many theories on the building statics.

General Books.

          In the general session, we got many books as the general session get more lessons than the productive lesson. The example is english, math, history, and art. We have two english book, one is wide and thin, and the other is short and thick. The color of the cover of the wide and thin one is purple, the other is orange with some yellow color. Both of the book got some people on the cover. Thr math book is pretty thick with orange and white as the color of the cover. We also got two history books. Both of them is the same size except one is thick and the other is thin. And lastly the art book, we got two books for the first and second semester. Both of the book covers are green with some picture of wayang.

5. This my description.

         My school is close to the city. the location is very strategic because it is close to shopping centers and several famous places. the building is still strong at the age of more than 70. The paint from my school building varies, there are purple, light yellow, white, blue, and red.

            In my school there are some trees. in front of my school there is a lobby that has carvings on the door. then lots of mockups of the work of the DPIB department are displayed. There are three courts, the first is a basketball court, badminton court and the main court. This school also has two canteens, the canteen above and the canteen below.
